Hello and welcome.
I would like to welcome you to this very special recording, a recording that will help you to experience a sound, peaceful sleep.
By listening to this recording and by practicing the exercise consistently, you will go to sleep easier and sleep more soundly.
Each time you listen to this recording your ability to fall asleep and stay asleep will become easier and easier.
As you are lying in bed, free from any distractions, become as comfortable as possible.
Just let your eyes close slowly and naturally, if they have not already done so and as your eyes close let your entire body begin to slowly relax.
As you are listening to the music, allow the music to relax you even more, to guide you deeper and deeper into relaxation, into sleep.
As you listen to the words of my voice, let the words of my voice help you to become even more relaxed, more relaxed than you have ever been, as you begin to slowly drift off to sleep.
For the next few moments the most important thing you have to do is relax, is to relax now, is to go to sleep.
As you feel your body slowly and gently relaxing, from the top of your head all the way down to the soles of your feet, become aware of your breathing.
Your breathing is the key to your relaxation and well being.
Slowly begin to inhale and exhale and only through your nose.
Breathe in slowly and deeply each time that you inhale.
Fill your lungs completely each time that you inhale, pause for a moment and then begin to slowly exhale.
Exhale slowly and completely.
Empty the air from your body as you exhale, pause for another moment and then slowly begin to inhale again.
As you are listening to the music, continue to inhale deeply and exhale completely.
You will relax more and more each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely.
You will become sleepier and sleepier each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely, as you just let go.
As you are lying on the bed, as you are continuing to go deeper and deeper into relaxation, become awareness of your body.
Feel your body. Become aware of your body as you ly in bed. Notice how relaxed your body is becoming.
Feel your body relaxing more and more with each breath that you take, each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely.
Now feel your head and face. Feel all of the muscles in your head and face slowly relaxing. Each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the muscles in your head and face will relax more and more. Stay with this feeling for a moment.
Feel your shoulders and arms. Feel all of the muscles in your shoulders and arms slowly relaxing. Each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the muscles in your shoulders and arms will relax more and more. Stay with this feeling for a moment.
Feel your chest and back. Feel all of the muscles in your chest and back slowly relaxing. Each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the muscles in your chest and back will relax more and more. Stay with this feeling for a moment.
Feel your legs and feet. Feel all of the muscles in your legs and feet slowly relaxing. Each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the muscles in your legs and feet will relax more and more. Stay with this feeling for a moment.
Now feel your entire body. Feel all of the muscles in your head and face, your shoulders and arms, your chest and back and your legs and feet relaxing even more. Feel all of the muscles in your entire body slowly relaxing. As you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the muscles in your entire body will relax more and more. Stay with this feeling for a moment.
As you continue to listen to the music, as you continue to listen to the words of my voice, as you continue to inhale deeply and exhale completely, feel all of the muscles in your entire body becoming more and more relaxed, so very relaxed now, from the top of your head all the way down to the soles of your feet, as you drift off to sleep.
The more you listen to the music the sleepier you become.
Each time that you inhale deeply and exhale completely all of the musles in your body will relax more and more and you will become sleepier and sleepier.
As your body continues to relax, feel yourself drifting further and further away, becoming more and more sleepy as you begin your journey of drifting off into a sound and deep sleep.
As you continue to inhale deeply and exhale completely, as your body continues to relax even more, allow the music to gently carry you away into a very sound, deep sleep.
As I count down from 5 to 1 you will go ever further into relaxation and will drift off to sleep.
5 Going deeper into relaxation, becoming more and more sleepy.
4 Drifting further and further down, becoming so very sleepy.
3 Feeling your body relaxing even more as you drift off into a sound sleep.
2 Continuing to drift down, going deeper and deeper, gently falling sleep.
