Moving Through the Struggle of the Roller Coaster

As we begin to transform our life, as we start to create something new for ourselves and our life, we eventually experience the process or journey as a struggle.  The struggle appears when we start to doubt ourselves and the project that we are going about creating.  The struggle happens when we start to lose the motivation and drive that first started the transformation of self.
The struggle also gives us the opportunity to practice staying enrolled in the creation and not giving up. As we do the work there will be times when the struggle will be so intense that the tendency is to just give up, making up a story that the project is too hard or that I will eventually fail so why do it.  How we deal with the struggle once it appears is vital to continuing to stay in the process of transforming your life.
I believe that in the beginning the struggle is inevitable.  It will happen.  It is not a matter of if but when.  Sometimes the struggle will happen when you least expect it.  What I have found is that one of the best ways to deal with the struggle is to center oneself, to ground yourself in the moment.  From the moment, the Now, from our being there fully, we gain power.  Practicing meditation or some other form of relaxation technique designed to center oneself is so important if not vital to staying in the game of life, of managing the roller coaster ride of life.

Staying Committed in the Face of no Payoff.

Being committed is so very important for anything that we take on in life.  Staying committed is always the hard work.  It is easy to create a commitment to something, to say with your word that you will do or accomplish something.  For example, the creating of a new profession like what I have done is my most immediate commitment.  However, the work in to stay committed to the creation or new venture even when there is no immediate payoff.
As I am in the process of creating a new profession for myself and my life, the transformation of Enhanced Healing, there is no immediate payoff appearing.  The dream is to be able to create the music that I love, help others to use and get the benefit from it and also, to make a living doing it.  The creation of the music is there.  What is not showing up yet is the payoff, in this case, the financial rewards that are so very necessary to sustain the venture.
My work on a daily basis is to stay committed even when the financial payoff is not appearing at the moment.  Part of this process does involve the creation of faith, faith that the financial rewards will eventually start to appear.  While patience is so very important in endeavors of this nature, faith is absolutely necessary.  Creating faith that the rewards will appear even in the face of no immediate payoff can be difficult.  For me this involves staying in the possibility, the possibility of the creation of my music and the financial reward for my efforts, faith that both will eventually appear together.
What keeps me in possibility and faith is that the primary commitment is the actual creation of the music and the good it will do for others.  I could have my primary commitment to be the financial reward but I believe further that such a primary focus would get in the way of what the creation is truly all about.  The financial rewards are secondary to the creation itself.  It is important for me to make that distinction and stay with it.  Worrying about the financial commitment not showing up eventually makes that concern the primary commitment.

True Commitment will show up when you throw your Hat over the Fence

Sometimes we say we really want something in life.  Sometimes we say we want to create something different for ourselves and our life.  Sometimes we say we want our lives to be different but our actions do not conform or match up with what we say we want.  Sometimes our behavior is not in alignment with what we say we want. Sometimes we do or do not do something that will let us get what we want from life even though we have said that we want it.  Sometimes we hold back in one way or another thereby not allowing us to move forward and truly get what we say we want.
This has happened to me, even now, today.  I say that I want to transform my life by transforming Enhanced Healing.  I say this and have all of the best intentions to do it. However, I do not do what is necessary for my creation to actually happen.  This is the case for me and I have been doing it specificly in the context with my conversations about money.  I make out to be about other people, that they are not doing what they need to do to transform my life.  With this type of conversation I am throwing my responsibility for my creation out the window, blaming and thereby staying stuck.
What I have gotten most recently, a breakthrough for sure, is that I need to throw my hat over the fence and just take action in this particular area of my life that needs it the most.  I have to stop using the reason that something does not happen or someone does not do something as excuses for me staying stuck.  I have to give up my reasons for escaping responsibility, for me not creating my dream.  I have to just do it, through my hat over the fence, and dive into my commitment to create my dream and move pass the limiting conversation about money.

Creating Infinite Possibility for your Life.

Creating Infinite possibility for your life sounds impossible.  Sometimes we tend to believe that life has limits, that we have limits to what we can do and create for ourselves.  It is, however, a mind set, an attitude, a way of thinking that is necessary to begin creating infinite possibility.  We do tend to play out what we think is possible.  If we believe that there are limits and not infinite possibility then we will make that happen, make it so.
Staying in infinite possibility is not only part of the work of transformation but something that initially takes work, conscious work to stay in that space of creating.  Not that I stay in this space all the time, letting at times my self limiting belief run the show, I am very aware now, of the power and importance of my work.  It is literally what I say is so that I starts to create something new for me.
Each day upon arising I have started to become present to my infinite possibility, to the fact that I will be the one who brings infinite possibility into existence.  It is with my saying that that is what is real that I begin to create that it is real and that it will show up in my life.  It is my mind set that will begin to create infinite possibility for my life and it is something that I have to practice everyday, especially in the beginning, to bring it into existence.

Being Committed is Staying with your Creation no matter what

Being committed to something, anything, is the basis of a person’s motivation.  Being committed reveals itself in so many ways. Being committed is continuing to stay with your creation no matter what, even in the face of no immediate payoff or set backs. Being committed to your creation requires that you have a plan of action and to stick with the plan.  While revising the plan is sometimes necessary, giving up the plan is never acceptable.  Being in commitment is truly about our integrity.
There will be ups and down, again, the very nature of the roller coaster ride of life itself.  We are on that roller coaster ride everyday.  Part of the work is to stay in commitment even with the roller coaster ride takes a turn into the dip.  There are some moments when the creation will appear not attainable.  There are some moments when we just want to give up.  However, it is our stand for our creation and the commitment that we generate out of that commitment that is of supreme importance.
The ups are great.  The downs are not so but they are what they are, a dip.  Our work is to not create a story when we enter the dip, not to make it worse as a result of our slipping into our self limiting belief.  The dip will happen.  We have to ride it through, knowing that things will eventually change, and stay focused and committed to what we want to create in our life from possibility.  It is our commitment to our creation that will take us out of our breakdown and back into creating possibility.

Being Open and Willing to Receive Abundance into your Life

Creating possibility requires that you always remain open and willing to receive abundance into your life.  Many of us believe that there are limits to our creating and doing in life, to accomplishing what we say we want.  For example, many believe that there are limits to how much money we can make.  We tend to accept these limits as fact, as the way things are, as reality.  Once accepted and believed to be what is so we act accordingly.  Believing that there are limits to our ability to make money and be prosperous does not allow us to create true abundance in our life.  We simply sell out on our ability to create and have wealth in our life.  Being willing and open to receiving abundance begins to create a new space for infinite possibility to start to truly show up.
Being open and willing to receive abundance into our life also requires that we believe that we deserve to have wealth. Fundamentally, what stops us is our internal dialogue, that inner voice that continues to tell us that we are not worth it, that we are not good enough, that things never turn out good, that we do not deserve.  Part of the work of transformation is, especially in the beginning, to constantly be giving up the negative message that our mind generates, that attempts to stop us from creating possibility, that does not want us to succeed and achieve wealth and abundance.  To transform requires that we continue to declare who we are, who we think we are in life.  This work will be a roller coaster ride at first.  However, if we stick to the work, we will start to slowly transform our life.  This is where to true powerful of using positive affirmations to reinvent a new identity is so important, so necessary for our continued transformation.

Self Esteem and our Experience of Stress – The Core of our Transformation

Stress is something that everyone experiences today, in one form or another.  The consequences of stress vary from one person to the next.  Stress has become one of the major issues that health care providers are now facing in growing numbers.  The consequences of stress can be psychological, physical, behavioral and vocational in nature.  A great deal of effort is now being put into finding ways to help people manage stress.
There are a variety of ways to deal with stress, to help reduce or even eliminate stress in our lives.  One of the most important things that people need to learn is how to relax.  This is very difficult for many people.  For some being able to relax almost seems impossible.  For these people their entire day is filled with stressful situations that must be handled or dealt with, at least this is what they truly believe.
Therapeutic relaxation music is one modality that can effectively and efficiently reduce the stress that we experience on a daily basis.  Listening to therapeutic relaxation music on a repeated basis will create a very powerful state of relaxation for the individual.  Experiencing therapeutic relaxation music on a consistent basis allows this space to be created that enable the person to heal, physically and psychologically.  The more that the individual listens to the relaxation music the more it will alters his life on a daily basis.
Another very important modality that can reduce a person’s stress is the use of positive affirmations.  Given that it is our thoughts and beliefs that cause our emotions and even influence, if not determine, our physical health, negative thoughts cause us to experience the world and life in a certain way.  If we have negative thoughts about ourselves, poor self esteem, we will not believe that we are capable, good enough and even of value and worth as human being.  As a result our internal sense of inadequacy stress will always be experienced as we go through life.  Our sense of succeeding and accomplishing will always be in question leaving us constantly on guard.
As a result of our poor self esteem, life will seem as though it is a real struggle.  Life will be mostly about survival.  As we play into our self fulfilling prophecy our self image will tend to make our experiences match what it is that we truly think of ourselves.  A poor self image will beget a negative life and with the negative way of being will come the experience of stress and its sometimes devastating consequences.

Facing Fear and Moving Through It to Transform our Life

Fear is an emotion that can cripple us, can stop us cold from creating the life that we want.  For some the tendency is to make the emotion of fear go away.  For some their way of making the emotion of fear disappear is to medicate it, use drugs and alcohol to numb the emotion.  For some this manner of dealing with the emotion of fear is perceived of as the solution.  While not a true and lasting solution, soon the habit of using drugs and alcohol sets in and the addiction is created.
I have found that facing the fear is the only true and lasting solution.  Having some insight into this process can be very valuable. First, fear is an emotion.  Second, as with all emotions, they are generated or created by our thinking.  The emotion of fear, like all emotions, does not exist without thoughts or thinking being there to bring them into existence.  Change the thinking or thought process and emotions necessarily change.  There is no changing emotions without changing your thoughts.
Our thoughts and thinking process has a core.  There is a core belief that tends to generate our thinking process or pattern.  This core belief is always about us.  It is a fundamental belief that we have about ourselves, about our value and worth as a human being.  Most every other thought that we have or experience is created from the context of this basic, core belief about who we think we are.  The origin of this belief is something that we created.  We are in every sense of the word responsible for its creation.
Taking responsibility for the creation of this core, fundamental belief is absolutely necessary for ones transformation.  Unless we do assume this responsibility for what we think and belief about ourselves we will stay trapped in an endless loop of irrational thinking and negative life experiences.  We will stay trapped in always blaming someone or something for our situation and as such never able to move past the negative experiences that we are having.  We will be a prisoner of our belief about who we think we are and never able to experience freedom.
Our transformation will only be gotten by becoming fully present to who we think we are and from this insight alter the fundamental, core belief that is not only false but that has been running our life.  More on this soon.

Staying with your Commitment to Transform your Life.

When we take on something new, something that we want to create for ourselves and our life, something will always happen that will appear as if it is there to stop us, so we think.  While we could create a story that either people, places or things are conspiring against, holding us back in some way from our succeeding, trying to control us even, we need to assume total responsibility for what we are experiencing as opposed to blaming.  To blame or to put ourselves down for what we perceive of as a failure at worst or as little success at best, only serves to keep us in that space.  In essence we stay stuck in self blame or pity, generating more of what we really do not want to be happening.
What I must do is stay committed to my project even in the face of no or little reward or pay off.  Staying focused on the creation itself will serve me to stay in the game of creating what I want.  When things show up that I do not want to have happening or happen not at the pace that I would prefer, I must stay open to learning why it is showing up that way.  There is always something to learn in these types of experience.  When things happen that are not in alignment with my created expectations, I have to stay committed to the work, not the outcome.  Being grateful for all that shows up is more powerful for me as opposed to blaming or complaining.  Staying grateful for the small steps allows me to continue to generate more of what I want, more of what the small steps truly represent.
Whatever I focus on will continue to happen.  If I focus primary on the negative, then the negative will continue to show up in my life.  If I stay focused on what is not happening then only the not happening will continue to be created.  I have to stay in my commitment to my creation, that which I am striving for in life.  Staying hungry for my new vocation only serves to continue to generate the outcome that I truly say I want, even if it is only happening in small steps.  The small steps add up to real breakthroughs in our life, to a true transformation in our attempts to bring into existence the mission of our creation.

Moving Through Fear on a Daily Basis

As I go on the journey of transforming myself and creating my dream I am faced with the emotion of fear on a daily basis.  It seems that as I take on working and completing something with my dream that the emotion of fear is somewhere in the back ground.  Sometimes it appears in the fore ground.  Nevertheless the emotion of fear is always present in my life these days and something that I have to continually move through to continue my work.
If I do not continue to move into and through fear it would probably stop me, stop me from doing what I am up to, creating a life that I want to live, fulfilling my dream.  I know that the purpose of the emotion is to stop me.  It almost seems as though it wants me to not only stop creating but even to fail.  I know that inside the emotion of fear is the thought process of not being enough, that things do not turn out, that I will be a failure somehow.
My work is to not get attached to either the emotion or the thinking that generates it.  I must acknowledge it.  I must never pretend that it is not there or appearing for me.  I must acknowledge its existence, let it go and continue to move in the direction that I want.  Even in the face of fear and the thoughts under neither it, I must stay committed and engaged with respect to creating my dream.
